Bass Player, Jill Garnet, takes a moment from reading a good book to pose for this photo. She doesn’t look too happy about being disturbed though!

[update: Unfortunately, we were a 'no-show' for this gig, as the internet connection in the studio was down. We were all here ready to play for you, but the system just wasn't working. It is worth saying though, that in 3 1/2 years of doing regular shows in Second Life, this was the very first time ever that we were completely stopped by technology!]

Hi there. Two of four Rails will be doing a show today. Song writer / guitar player, Jeremy Barracuda, and I have been performing together for about 10 years now, so we know how to do it! We will be backed by an old school drum machine called an Oberheim. Found this baby on ebay (to replace another one we had that died a long slow death) and it might be one of the last ones in regular use! Here’s a Youtube about them => check it out
We’ll miss our rhythm team though, ( Jill on bass and Chops on drums), and look forward to having them here in sl with us next Wednesday!
However, we hope to see you today … the show will be held here

A picture of me checking on the gold bars in the safe. Ha ha hee hee, now we really know we’re in Second Life!

A note to say that, from now on, The Rails’ regular weekly show in-world will be on Wednesdays (rather than Thursdays). The time remains the same … 2 pm slt. See you then

“Chops Baxton, at your service!” … that’s what drummer Niall says in real life, as he bursts into the studio on Thursdays, all ready to rock out! Hope you can come on our to hear/see the show. Each band member has their own microphone, so you can witness all the crazy talk! Location = here
