You know you want the chance to see Chops Baxton with his shirt off, right?!
Please join The Rails Band, as we rock out in-world today, for the fourth and final show on our winter stage. We will defy the cold wearing cute little Christmasy outfits, that would normally only be seen gracing a stage at Chippendale’s! Hey, The Rails Sexy Santa day only happens once a year. There will be no complete nudity, but we won’t be wearing our woollies either! Ding-a-ling-ding-dong.
Come on out at 2 pm slt … it will be fun -> here
We are so pleased to be taking part in this excellent line-up today. Please consider coming to Demo’s Wonderland for lots of great music! I’ll let this poster and write-up by Demolicious Wonder do the talking!
Gonna be a fun one!
This Sunday, December 19th, Demo’s Wonderland celebrates the holiday season in style with four hours of live music. The Naughty and Nice Holiday show has a little something for everyone. The day kicks off with Krakov Letov, playing a set of chillaxing ambient electronica at 11 am SLT. Demolicious Wonder takes the stage at noon kicking out an hour of new wave inspired synth-pop. At 1 pm SLT, The Rails stream live from Canada with indie-pop originals that will get your avatar dancing. EvaMoon Ember takes over at 2 pm SLT to bring some rollicking raunch and good cheer.
See you at Demo’s Wonderland!
ps. We have mistletoe and we’re not afraid to use it!
Both Real-Life and Second-Life did their very best to dampen our spirits yesterday for the show at The Hyde Park Skating Rink, but nothing could keep the partiers down! In spite of the key organizer not making it in at all, terrible stormy weather in Europe, and SL being plagued by grayed-out or misty fog avatars, we all still had a dandy time.
The party began with a creatively dj’d set by Plastique Munro. Then we performed, and following us was some fun Christmas music spun by dj Minxy Denimore. There was lots of skating with a few falling avatars, but nobody was injured. Well, maybe some bruised egos … Hey, since we’re all such excellent dancers in SL, we assumed we’d also be expert skaters too. Not so!
Line of the day … [13:52] Gloria Sempati: First time I saw my av dancing I laughed till I cried.
Here’s a photo of us, ready to head out to the rink.

Hello

A note to say that Rails, Jeremy Bee and Lolly Gee, will be will be playing a fun show today in London England! Please join us in Hyde Park at 1 pm slt. They’ve made it very pretty there, and you’ll have a great chance to get some exercise, listen to some live original tunes and enjoy some fun chat. This show is organized by Fibi Felisimo and hosted by Gloria Sempati … party people we know from the Bushy Beard days!
And no, I didn’t say ‘hitting the drink’, though there may be a bit o’ that going on! Holiday cheer, after-all.

Our regular ‘Full-Band-Wednesday’ show was well attended by beautifully attired avatars, dressed in Victorian splendor. And some not, but that’s ok, we love you all! It’s not the clothes that make the man, which was well proven by the fact that drummer Chops was a mist of fog for the whole show. Yes, the words ‘fog-off’ were a big hit joke!
A cute quote from our charmingly under-dressed hostess …
[13:42] Brucie Lusch: i didn’t have anything Victorian, so i went for the elf look lol
We’re just wondering how she’ll look for next week’s theme, which is ‘Sexy Santa’!
Some photos I snapped after the set. (Note to self … ask Chops to put down the drum-sticks after he’s done the show :s)
Hello
For our show today, Wednesday at 2 pm slt, we are all decked out in Victorian wear, but our music will be 100% live and modern! Please pull on a frock or tail-coat, and come on out. Or come as you are … It will be our pleasure to play for you, no matter what you’re wearing! The show will be here

… or if you make the same spelling mistake I always do … Sweat Sweeter Party!
Here are some snapshots taken after our 4th Annual Christmas Sweater Party, held last Wednesday! It was fun, and included an honoured guest in the audience. Visual artist and content creator, MiaSnow Myriam, came to the show!
Also there were many beloved friends <3, plus some new listeners whom we hope to get to know better in the future. And of course, our most dependable helper and hostess, Brucie Lusch was there with bells on! A little under-dressed for the weather but hey, nobody seemed to mind her rosy cheeks at all
Thanks for coming out everyone!
After the show, we hung out for a bit, and I got some photos ….
One beauty of Second Life … it never gets too cold to stay out after the sun goes down! (Non-SLers might be interested to know that the sun and moon rise and fall in SL and the visual effect is gorgeous).
Cheers and thanks for reading. We’ll see you next Wednesday at 2 pm slt, when we celebrate a Victorian Holiday!
Please feel free to visit our Winter stage anytime to explore, have some hot-chocolate (with marshmallows!) or take pictures. You will have the place to yourself, unless it’s a Wednesday between 1 and 4 pm slt!
Hello
Want to model your cozy Christmas sweater, meet some new people, and listen and (hopefully) have a laugh? Come on out to our winter stage, located here
[This is our '4th Annual Christmas Sweater Party'. Woot Second Life!]
Poor drummer, Chops Baxton, was under-the-weather this past Wednesday, and therefore couldn’t come to play in Second Life. Though we missed him, we were able to get a replacement … Not nearly as good, but he had to do!
Thanks to everyone who got all bundled-up to hang out around the bonfire, and hear our show. And bigger thanks to those who wore their summer clothes, tolerating the cold and staying out, even though they were freezing!
Here’s wishing our deer friend a speedy recovery!
