The Rails live in Second Life today! 2 pm slt

A landmark to show you the way …

The Rails Nightclub

If you drive about 4 hours north of where we live (Toronto Canada), you will arrive at a beautiful beach.  I’ve spent many summer evenings there, looking out over Lake Huron, where the sunset looks very much like this.  So though it is months before the ice will melt in real life, it’s a pleasure to enjoy the scene in my mind, heart, and Second Life!

Jill had to split right after the show last night, but the rest of the band headed over to The Notes Shack for a little get together.

Jill is sorry she has to leave.  (Jacket by Komachi Lemon of IZM)

Come and save the day! The Rails Band Wed 2 pm slt

Don’t you love it when everything is ready to take a picture and this happens before you snap the first shot?! .. NOT

You can help make drummer, Chops Baxton’s day better by coming to our show today at 2 pm slt.  All four members of this real-life indie rock band will be in-world, playing all original music and chatting about life.

The Notes Shack is always a lot of fun and we love doing shows there! Drummer, Chops, and bass- player, Jill, were unable to make it in-world today, because of bad weather, so Jeremy and I brought the train to the station, backed by beats laid down by our vintage drum machine. Spare and pared down … just right for a dark and snowy January night.

Following our set we hung out with venue owner, Krakov Letov, and watched/listened to Engrama, who went on after us. Some great entertainment and lots of eye-candy keeping things warm on-line.

(and no ruined footwear!)

I went over early to drop off some gear and had a little visit with venue owner, Krakov Letov, beside the cozy fireplace!

Singer/keyboard player, Lolly Gladstone, cleans things up before the show!

[Update:  turns out Chops and Jill can't make it today, so you will be entertained by the duet act of Lolly and Jeremy!]
