The Rails at Mojo Beach today! (Saturday)

Hi :)   While our real life is still very snowy and cold, it’s a pleasure to shed some layers and perform at a beautiful beach in Second Life!  Lolly Gladstone and Jeremy Barracuda will be hitting the stage at 2 pm slt (5 pm EST, 22:00 GMT), thanks to an invitation by Mojo Music’s Love Rapine!

Jeremy B tried his shorts on early to make sure they still fit!  Lolly is at home busy slathering on the self-tanner …  What do you mean this stuff takes at least a day to work?!  eep.

Please join in on the fun, in-world at Mojo Beach

Thanks!

The Rails show will be out of this world!

Playing live in Second Life today, the four piece indie-rock band, The Rails, will take you to new heights in SL entertainment.  Playing original music on electric instruments, each with our own microphone, coming to you from a studio in downtown Toronto!

When the always alert and curious, Jill Garnet (bass guitar), reports that the sun has unleashed a strong solar flare, which will be visible tonight, we listen.  But please don’t let that keep you from coming to the show.  Or at least listening in!

To attend in-world:  2 pm slt, located The Rails Nightclub

Thanks!

Snow on the tracks won’t stop us!

Though Toronto is in the midst of a massive snow storm which has closed all the schools and left only plows on the streets, the show will still go on!  The Rails Band will be in-world today for a show at 2 pm slt.

In rl, a couple of years ago we had an out-of-town gig on the snowiest day of the year!  The banks in front of the club were four feet high and the side-walk had not been plowed.  Needless to say, people decided to stay in the cozy warmth of their homes, and we did the show for the bar staff, doorman, and sound person!  Well, I’m exaggerating, as there were a few other brave souls there too, but you get it!

A beauty of performing in Second Life … you don’t have to load your gear in a snow storm.  And you can wear nice boots without getting them ruined or falling on the ice.
