The 4th Anniversary Party at Fride Club was a great success. Well, that is all except for the complete crash halfway through our set which shut the show down, and shaky graphics after things got back on-line. It seems that all of Second Life went down for about 15 minutes, with no advance warning. But we were happy to get back in pretty quickly and finish up with two more songs. Usually, in our experience, when a crash of such magnitude happens it takes hours to get everything back on-line.
We were happy for party organizers and club owners, Midnattsdotter Fride and Zelator Baphomet, that the event was able to continue because a lot of effort had been put into it make it a fun time. It was planned well in advance and it would have been very unfortunate if it hadn’t been able to proceed. The set design, featuring a Super Mario Brothers Theme, was put up specifically for the party and was so cute. It really felt like we were right inside the game, particularly since Mario, Princess Peach and Luigi were there!

I stayed and listened to all the performers in the line-up (Hazideon Zarco, Strum Diesel, AM Quar) and thought the music was excellent. This was a high quality event all ’round and we were honoured to be invited to participate. Also, the people at Fride Club are always very friendly and very nice!
Jeremy B … see what I mean about wonky graphics after the crash? This is how Jeremy came back, wearing some weird combination of graphics. But he kind of looked like he went with the game though! And the puff of smoke that was Strum Diesel during his performance (in the first picture)? .. let’s just say it was not how he had planned to look.
