Hello :D Fancy a dose of original modern rock music? If the answer is yes, the whole band will be in SL to play some for you, live at 2 pm slt, located at The Rails Nightclub -> here
Our sound will appeal to people who like rock, punk, goth or new wave genres. People say we resemble The B52s, but please come out and form your own opinion!

Spring has sprung! The blossoms are early here in Toronto, but we’ll take them whenever they come.

In fact, we’d like as many as we can have, which includes adding them to our Second Lives!

Flowers, flowers everywhere!

I’m a tardy blogger and the show that this entry applies to was actually our Easter show. I know it’s late in the season for this picture, but I wanted to show you the cute balloon we bought at Divivity last month. One of the owners, Vivianne OFlynn, was there at the time and ended up giving us some very cute Easter decorations for our club. Her creations added to the fun of the show, and her kindness and good cheer are very appreciated!

See the “Show Today” Gig Poster for this show here
Please keep reading for details. Thanks everybody!

A couple of weeks ago, our friend Alysa Paravane, took a live action photo which we posted in our blog here. The joke then was that Chops was completely hidden behind his huge drum-kit. When he saw it in rl, he said, “Well, I don’t really like myself in that one!”
So, during our most recent show she took another picture of Chops by himself.

Hi! The whole band is coming on for a show today at 2 pm slt! Hope you can come. It will be held at The Rails Nightclub -> here

We all know that the major draw of Second Life is the visual aspect. Let’s face it, we could all be chatting on ‘traditional’ chat-line mediums, and as musicians, we could be putting out podcasts and live audio streams. BUT, and it’s a big ‘but’, these don’t involve the eye candy that Second Life brings to the party.

And while our personal artistic contribution is primarily audio, we do our very best to enhance the visual aspect of our offering. We are completely aware that people coming to see our shows, actually deserve to have something good to look at. This is why we care a lot about dressing our avatars in (hopefully) interesting ways. No, we are not always wearing the newest or most expensive clothing, but we mine our inventories for looks that we hope are ‘cam-worthy’.

We also do try to make our stage look good, changing the back drops and lighting for every performance we do at our own nightclub. We are selective about the other venues we play at too and always check out the locale before we do a show somewhere. If there’s a theme to the sim/venue, we try to look like we fit in, while still maintaining our look.

The most important visual aspect of a show is provided by you, the avatars who come out. No doubt, that every camera in the joint is moved from one of you to the next, taking in the visual treat that you provide. So a big huge thanks to you, for bringing your fine selves to the party. We appreciate your look, no matter what it may be.
Please keep reading for details.

Jeremy and I, along with our trusty vintage Oberheim drum machine, will be performing a show for some new friends, (including Alysa who took the photo in the previous post) . The set will be at Blacklist, which is located on Cataclysm sim -> here

Perhaps you would like to come! The club is a long-standing venue which is described as “Punkers and Nekos and Rockers and.. .OH MY!! A grungy lil’ town served up hot with a side of tasty humour.”

Hello! I’m getting behind on my blog but am determined to catch up. Hope you won’t mind if you see Easter eggs in May, as we were given the sweetest Easter decorations by Vivianne OFlynn of Divivity, and I do want to show them to you in the entry for our Easter show which was held at the beginning of April.
In the meantime, I’d like to display this cool photograph, taken by Alysa Paravane, at our show on April 8th. It gives you a peak at the gold and black outfits we wore for the gig. Thanks so much to Alysa!

When drummer, Chops, saw the picture he said in a completely serious tone, “Well, I don’t much like myself in that one”. lol … you’ll will be happy to know that since this was taken I have shrunken the drum kit!

For this show, Chops, Jeremy and I had to make do without little Jilly Bean on bass. She had a big show to do in real life, so her absence in SL was absolutely understandable. But we still missed our wicked bass line, not to mention her joking banter.

After the set, we decided to visit an art gallery. While we didn’t all agree of what paintings we liked the best, we all found the trip to be inspiring.

So much so that we went to pick up some art supplies afterward.

Could it be that Jeremy is working on music when his real artistic pursuit should be painting?!

Thanks to everyone who came to the show and to you for reading this post! Keep going for the details.
