The RAILS Band Gig Diary - Entry #63 Show Date: September 27, 2009.  Venue: The Rails Nightclub

They say you’re either a dog or a cat person.  While we do like dogs, it’s cats for us.  When I first got to Second Life I was so enchanted by the pet cats, that I collected a whole family of them.

These photos were taken after a duet show we performed on a Sunday night, for which we pulled out some oldies-but-goodies to wear.  The red latex dress, from Draconic Kiss, was the very first dress I bought in SL, and Jeremy’s pants caused quite a bit of excitement when obtained as a freebie from Canimal.  Those who have been around for a few years understand that this current phenomena of excellent free or low cost clothing in sl is a new thing.  Back in ‘the olden days’ you could find lots of free sexy lingerie and little of anything else.  Noobies looked new for a long time … until they decided they liked SL enough to put some money into it, or until they had camped for ages and earned a few $Lindens.  These pants were a welcome exception.

We mixed the ‘vintage’ clothes with new things, like Jeremy’s nice shiny boots.  These are from Sassy Kitty and were made for women but, hey, they look good on guys too.

On a final note, I forgot to mention that in SL, there is not need to clean the kitty litter, and no cat hair all over the sofa!   That makes things purr-fect.
